Full-Time X-Ray Technician 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars Apopka, FL 32703 Busy local medical imaging facility looking for an X-ray tech in a fast-paced work environment. This is a full-time position and must be willing and open to flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Schedule will allow for six (6) days off every other week. Willing to cross-train in CT. The starting pay range is $24-26 based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. Develop and process radiological images. Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs. Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Immediately report any equipment malfunctions to Supervisor. Help maintain examination rooms, stock necessary radiological supplies. Work closely with Supervisor to receive guidance and instruction for evaluating patients.

Requirements and Qualifications include:

Graduated from an X-Ray Tech program. Demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor. Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations. Comfortable with computers and PACS programs. Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
