ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Performs radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers. Travels to other clinics as directed by Chief Technologist and/or Radiology Director. Processes room add-on cases prior to scheduled cases. Uses equipment in compliance to all safety requirements. Complies with all HIPAA and OSHA requirements. Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, employees and other departments. Responds to patient questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels. Maintains patient confidentiality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associates Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification. One – two years experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinic environment. Current state and ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
