The role you’ll contribute: Reporting to the Practice Manager andunder the supervision of the Providers, the Radiologic Technologistcares for patients and performs a wide variety of patient careactivities, including laboratory testing and radiographic exams.

Adheres to state, federal and organizational guidelines to ensurequality care and patient safety with support from the ClinicalExcellence team. Is essential in maintaining organization andfacilitating patient flow. Actively participates in outstandingcustomer service and accepts responsibility in maintainingrelationships that are equally respectful to all. The value you’llbring to the team:

• Drives customer service initiatives by creating and owning thepatient experience
• Performs basic radiological examinations,including all quality controls/clerical duties. Processes referencelaboratory specimens to include venipuncture, specimen handling/labeling, and tracking results.
• Performs properly and legiblydocuments and reports all procedures and assessments in accordancewith department policy.
• Utilizing age-specific guidelines,assesses patient during clinical check-in, documents pertinentmedical information and vital signs. Assesses for signs of abuse orneglect.
• Completes general orders and any follow-up assessmentsordered by the provider, verifying as needed.

Respondsappropriately in clinical emergencies and triage situations. Theexpertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimumqualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CardiacPulmonary Resuscitation
• Current Florida State license – GeneralRadiographer (RT)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Continued maintenance BAT Certification
• Continued maintenance ofDrug Screen Certification after hire Preferred qualifications:
• Previous Radiologic Technologist experience
