Know Your Team:
UT HealthAthens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated asa Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center; advanceddiagnostic technology; 10-bed ICU; maternity unit radiation therapycenter; and a stand-alone ED in Gun Barrel City. ResponsibilitiesPerforms all procedures relevant to breast imaging. A comprehensiveapproach to breast health is utilized in accordance withdepartmental policy at the three sites of service. These includethe Breast Care Center, off-site screening mammography service, andthe mobile mammography van. Participates in required technical andprogram continuous quality improvement activities and demonstratesexceptional patient service skills. Qualifications Job RequirementsHigh School diploma or equivalent Graduate of an approved school ofradiologic technology Two year as a Radiologic technologist Oneyear as a mammography technologist Currently certified AART andTexas Department of Health Certified in mammography CPR certifiedPreferred Job Requirements Mobile mammography experience
