Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
operate advanced mammography and X-ray equipment to ensure precise imaging and optimal diagnostic outcomes
produce high-quality diagnostic images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment
prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and maintaining patient safety
ensure imaging equipment is functioning correctly, conduct routine quality control checks, and report any issues for repair
verify images meet quality standards before submitting them for physician interpretation
maintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and maintain your register status for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

effective July 1, 2017appropriate national certifications in two modalities required
current BCLS (AHA)
must be familiar with State and Federal regulations
one year of Acute Clinical Radiography preferred
proficient computer skills
