CT Technologist – Nights This full-time role involves conductingCT scans with precision and efficiency to support disease diagnosisand treatment. The CT Tech operates imaging equipment, ensurespatient safety, and maintains compliance with healthcare standards.
Core Responsibilities:
Patient Care & Imaging:
Verifies clinicianorders and gathers relevant patient history. Administers contrastmedia safely and ensures proper patient identification. Operates CTequipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images whileminimizing radiation exposure. Responds to emergencies and assistswith procedures, including venipuncture.
Equipment & QualityControl:
Maintains imaging equipment, performs calibration, andensures compliance with regulatory standards. Reviews and approvesimages for clinical accuracy before releasing patients. Ensuresstudies are correctly stored in PACS and completes documentation.
Education & Communication:
Provides clear explanations to patientsusing AIDET principles to ease anxiety and encourage cooperation.
Educates patients on pre- and post-procedural care and assists instaff training. Reads and responds to departmental communicationsdaily.
Qualifications:
Education:
Certificate in RadiologicTechnology or equivalent.
Licenses & Certifications:
ARRTRadiography, ARRT Computed Tomography, BLS required.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year in radiology (CT experience preferred).
Skills:
Strong communication, teamwork, multitasking, and stressmanagement.
Schedule & Additional Details:
Shift:
Nights(Thursday-Saturday, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM).
Weekend & HolidayRequirements:
Per unit needs.
