Travel Job Description As a mammographer, also called a mammographytechnologist, you’ll take X-ray images of patients’ breasts forscreening and diagnosis. Working in a hospital, clinic, imagingcenter or other radiology setting, you’ll prepare and operateequipment, explain mammograms to patients, position patients’breasts for imaging and more. You’ll play an important role inhelping prevent and detect breast cancer.
