Job DescriptionSUMMARY Under the direction of the radiologist,the MRI technologist performs total body imaging for neonatal,pediatric, and adult patients in various body planes; which resultsin the production of quality images for diagnostic interpretation.

The MRI technologist effectively utilizes all imaging capabilitiesof the MRI scanner. The technologist is responsible for maintainingoptimal level of patient care. In addition, the MRI technologistwill assist in the optimization of patient flow and studythroughput.

QUALIFICATIONS

Successful completion of a two-yearRadiology Technology program approved by the committee on AlliedHealth Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AmericanRegistry of Radiology Technologist Registered with the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists required Must have two yearssuccessful experience as a Radiologic Technologist Current CPRcertification required Must possess the ability to grasp and applythe scientific principles related to magnetic resonancetechnology
