Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to,experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at thetime of the offer. Responsibilities Perform a variety ofradiographic procedures used in the diagnostic treatment of illnessand injuries. Position patients and select anatomic and technicalparameters accurately. Implement radiation protection and safetystandards. Prepare, perform and assist the physician in special andadvanced procedures. Prepare and administer contrast media andmedications within the accepted scope of practice and applicablestate and federal regulations. Help position patients and selectanatomic and technical parameters accurately. Ensure all activitiescomply with regulatory agency standards. Ensure prompt submissionof high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (imagequality, correct lead markers and patient data/history). Assist inmaintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to includeprocedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage areaand any other areas in department. Requirements Licensure /Certification /

Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month(30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. AmericanHeart Association or American Red Cross accepted. RadiologicTechnologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from theAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained priorto hire date or job transfer date required. Radiologic Technologistspecializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hiredate or job transfer date required.

Education:

High School diplomaequivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative jobspecific experience required.
