Travel CT Tech (Computed Tomography) Thursday-Saturday, Nights Medical Talent, LLC | Woman Owned, Veteran Owned Marietta, GA 30060 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing computed tomography (CT) scans on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as emergency rooms and trauma centers. Responsibilities Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging procedures. Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to prevent infection. Prepare patients for scans by explaining the procedure and addressing any concerns. Position patients accurately to obtain optimal images while ensuring their comfort. Monitor patients during the scanning process, observing for any adverse reactions or complications. Maintain equipment functionality through regular checks and troubleshooting as needed. Document patient information and scan results accurately in the medical records system. Adhere to safety protocols in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center environment. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in CT technology. Qualifications Certification as a Radiologic Technologist with a focus on CT imaging. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to diagnostic imaging. Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or trauma settings is preferred. Proficiency in aseptic techniques and patient care practices. Ability to work effectively under pressure, especially in emergency room settings. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team members. Familiarity with CT scanning equipment and software is essential.
