Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team in Newnan, GA for a 13-week contract position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a strong understanding of MRI procedures and safety protocols. You’ll play a key role in producing high-quality diagnostic images to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process Prepare patients for MRI exams by explaining procedures and positioning them correctly Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for image interpretation and patient care Follow all MRI safety guidelines and infection control procedures Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions
Requirements:
ARRT (MR) certification or ARRT (R) with MRI experience Minimum of 1 year of recent MRI experience preferred BLS Certification (AHA) Strong attention to detail and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with GE or Siemens MRI machines is a plus
