Overview:
The Computed Tomography Technologist Weekend Option isresponsible for providing high-quality patient care during ComputedTomography (CT) procedures using approved workflows and proceduralprotocols. Working under direct supervision, this position usesspecialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross sectionalimages of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing awide variety of diseases and disorders. This role has a weekendoption, in which the staff member is required to commit to WEOrequirements and work two shifts within the WEO window for apremium rate. Talent Pool;
Allied Health Responsibilities:
Operateshead or body x-ray scanners which create a computer-generatedcross-sectional image, commonly called a CAT (Computed AxialTomography) Scan. Performs routine and special CT exams adhering toestablished protocols to minimize additional imaging and limitradiation dose, maintaining exam productivity within establishedbenchmarks. Completes all exams and documentation in ComputerizedHealth Information (CHL) and Picture Archiving and CommunicationSystem (PACS), accurately identifying all charges associated withstudies and addressing errors for a seamless workflow. Educates andprepares patients for their examinations to enhance patientunderstanding and cooperation during testing and promote a positivepatient experience. Demonstrates commitment to safe practices, JustCulture, and As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principles toeliminate errors and enhance patient outcomes. Performs otherduties as assigned.

EDUCATION
Required:
HighSchool Diploma or equivalent Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging orrelated educational program
