Radiological Technician CarePlus Urgent Care Springfield, GA 31329 CarePlus Urgent Care is now recruiting team members to provide compassionate and quality care with integrity so that CarePlus Urgent Care meets the needs of the community. CarePlus Urgent Care is looking to hire a full-time energetic highly motivated Radiological Technician who will deliver exceptional care and customer service to patients at a fast pace, high energy urgent care. Not only will this team member be instrumental in providing high-quality radiological exams but will also be involved in direct patient care via cross-training. This hands-on care will enhance the Radiological Technician’s role at CarePlus Urgent Care by providing both radiological imaging and compassionate direct patient care in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures on patients as ordered by a physician or healthcare provider Ensure that radiographic images meet quality standards and are properly documented. Assist with patient positioning, shielding, and explaining procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety. Maintain radiologic equipment, perform routine maintenance, and report any malfunctions or issues. Ensure patient records and images are appropriately stored and easily accessible. Work closely with physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, and other healthcare staff members to ensure timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in the radiology area. Adhere to all safety regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and industry standards. Assist in administrative tasks, including patient intake, insurance verification, and scheduling, as needed. Ability to fulfill scheduled shifts including every other weekend. Assist in patient care including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, perform diagnostic tests (e.g., EKGs, urinalysis, and blood glucose testing). Cross-training to be provided. Maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Qualifications:
Certification:

Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Experience:

At least [1-2 years] of experience working in a clinical or urgent care setting preferred, but new graduates will be considered and are welcomed.

Skills:

Strong communication skills, ability to work well under pressure, and proficiency with radiologic equipment and imaging software.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move patients as required and to stand for extended periods.

Work Schedule:

Ability to fulfill scheduled shifts including every other weekend.
