CT Tech:

• Operate head or body x-rayscanners which create a computer generated cross-sectional image,commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan
• Responsiblefor educating and preparing patients for their examinations
• Provide patient care that is essential to the performance of avariety of procedures
• Take patient medical history before an exam
• Position patients so desired anatomy will bedemonstrated
• Qualifications for the

CT Tech:

• Graduate of anaccredited Associate or Bachelors degree program in RadiologicTechnology or related field
• ARRT (R) (CT) Certification required
• Current CT Technologist Licensure within state of practice
• Current

BLS/BCLS

certification

• 6 months to 1+ years experience
