Job Description
This position is sign on bonus eligible: The Radiologic Technologist performs mammographic/radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. This individual performs general radiographic, fluoroscopic and portable procedures as assigned. The Radiologic Technologist performs procedures that will require independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. He/she assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required and provides appropriate age-specific care to neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- One year or more as a staff technologist Adequate capabilities as determined by department administrator

EDUCATION REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or equivalent Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology Meets requirements for registry by ARRT Meets the requirements of the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) Maintains and documents continuing education requirements as required by ARRT
