Job Summary:

Northside Hospital Forsyth is seeking a skilled and certified Travel Mammography Technician to join our Breast Care Imaging team. This outpatient role involves performing mammograms, breast ultrasounds, bone density scans, and assisting with breast biopsy procedures.

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality mammographic exams and procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols. Collaborate with radiologists and imaging staff for optimal patient care. Ensure patient comfort, safety, and education during imaging procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and utilize Cerner EMR for all imaging records. Operate and maintain mammography and related imaging equipment. Support a multidisciplinary breast care imaging team in a high-volume outpatient setting.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Mammography Technician. Valid ARRT certification (Mammography certification preferred or required depending on local standards). Current BLS certification (American Heart Association). Experience with Cerner electronic medical records. Ability to commit to the full 13-week contract .

$68.00 – $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
