Requirements:

One to three years’ experienceas a CT Tech preferred Other certifications or licenses may berequired for this position Critical thinking, service excellenceand good interpersonal communication skills, ability toread/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbalinstructions, PC skills

Physical Abilities:

Remain in a stationaryposition, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), Pushing, Pulling,Bending. The following is a summary of the major job duties of thisjob. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which arenot mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time totime. Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images ofpatients’ bones, organs and tissue. Prepare patient for diagnosticprocedure, explains procedure and positions patient appropriately.

Sets appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrateanatomy and pathology. Provide images to Radiologist forinterpretation. Follows hospital safety rules and procedures.

Performs other duties as assigned

  • Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling and able tomove about when assisting with procedures and/or using departmentequipment. Mental Requirements
  • Must be able to cope with frequentcontact with the general public, customers, and meeting deadlinesunder pressure.

Must be able to work under close supervisionoccasionally as well as working without assistance from otherpersonnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activityschedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail.
