Job Summary:
As a Radiologic Technologist with ComputedTomography, you will play a critical role in our healthcarefacility’s diagnostic imaging department. You will be responsiblefor operating CT scanners to obtain high-quality images for thediagnosis and treatment of patients. Your primary focus will be toensure patient safety and comfort while producing accurate andclear images that assist medical professionals in making informeddecisions.
Key Responsibilities:
CT Imaging:
Perform CT scans onpatients using advanced imaging equipment and technology to producehigh-resolution images of the designated area for diagnosticpurposes.
Patient Care:
Prepare patients for CT scans, explainingthe procedure, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout theimaging process.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenanceon CT equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and safely.
Report any malfunctions or issues promptly.
Radiation Safety:
Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols to minimizeradiation exposure to patients, yourself, and other healthcarestaff.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and complete records of allCT scans performed, including patient information, imagingparameters, and any special instructions.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor image quality and make necessary adjustments to optimizeimage clarity. Identify and report any image artifacts or issues.
Collaboration:
Work closely with radiologists and other healthcareprofessionals to ensure that imaging results meet diagnosticrequirements.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety and infectioncontrol protocols, including the proper handling of hazardousmaterials and the maintenance of a clean and organized workenvironment.
Qualifications:
State licensure as a RadiologicTechnologist
- Required Minimum 2 years of experience as a CTTechnologist
- Required ARRT Certification with CT credential
- Required CPR Certification
- Required Strong knowledge of CTimaging techniques and equipment.
Excellent communication andpatient care skills. Attention to detail and ability to work in afast-paced healthcare environment. Willingness to stay current withadvances in radiologic technology and imaging procedures. Abilityto work independently and as part of a team.
