SUMMARY:
The Pool MRI Technologist, under the direction of the radiologist,performs total body imaging for neonatal, pediatric, and adultpatients in various body planes, which results in the production ofquality images for diagnostic interpretation. Effectively utilizesall imaging capabilities of the MRI scanner. Maintains optimallevel of patient care and assists in the optimization of patientflow and study throughput.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED is required. Must have successfully completed a two-year Radiology Technologyprogram which is approved by the committee on Allied HealthEducation and Accreditation of the AMA and the American Registry ofRadiology Technologist. Two years of successful experience as a RadiologicTechnologist. Must be registered with the American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists.(ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic ResonanceImaging Technologist (ARMRIT). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must possess the ability to grasp and apply the scientificprinciples related to magnetic resonance technology.
