Overview:

MRI Technologist are eligible for a sign-on bonus of$1,000 (New Hires) The MR Technologist I will assist physicians inthe performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures bypreparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment inorder to obtain diagnostic scans. Qualifications:
Education:

HighSchool Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree,preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MRProgram, required.

Experience:

Minimum of one year of experience inMR, preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

NH Medical Center-Certifiedand registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 monthsof hire, required. NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility -Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR),required. Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registeredby ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required. IV Credentialed,required. Applicable state license, required.

Additional SkillsRequired:

Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analyticalability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpretinformation to identify each patient’s requirements for carerelative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
