Responsibilities:
4×10 shifts Perform CT scans with precision and attention to detail, ensuring optimal image quality. Comfortably and competently position patients for scans, addressing any concerns they may have. Operate and maintain CT equipment, guaranteeing its proper functionality and reporting issues promptly. Monitor patients during scans, responding effectively to any adverse reactions or emergencies. Collaborate seamlessly with medical professionals to ensure accurate patient information and imaging requisitions. Maintain thorough and accurate patient records, adhering to documentation protocols. Uphold strict radiation safety measures and infection control procedures. Offer compassionate care to patients, making them feel at ease throughout the imaging process.
Qualifications:
Current and valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT. State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Georgia. Minimum of 2years’ experience working as a CT Technologist. Proficiency in operating CT equipment and associated software. Solid understanding of anatomy, patient positioning, and radiation safety protocols. Excellent communication skills and an ability to connect with patients and colleagues. Adaptability to new environments and flexibility to excel in various healthcare settings. Willingness to travel and work on a contract basis.
