Will also consider a PRNschedulePrimary Function/General Purpose of PositionThis roleperforms digital X-ray studies on patients per the orders placed byproviders. This is a multi-skilled clinical professional who workswithin the scope of practice to assist in patient care under thedirection of the provider.

Essential Job FunctionsPerforms providerordered radiographic examinations for specific anatomical partsallowed by obtained licensureConducts proper patient positioning,immobilization, utilizing appropriate radiationprotectionDetermines and selects proper electronic and technicalfactors which safeguard the patient, x-ray tube, and equipment, andreports immediately any malfunction, necessary adjustments, orrepairs of equipment to supervisorAssists in medical documentationand clinical assistant duties as directed and supervised by theProviderParticipates in promotion of positive culture and teamworkand demonstrates excellence in care in all interactions, for bothpatients and internal teamsMaintains a safe and supportiveenvironment by keeping the work area, exam rooms, and equipment inclean, orderly, and safe mannerUnderstands and adheres to the legalresponsibilities and requirements within the roleTravels to otherurgent care facilities if necessary or adjusting work hours to meetpatient care needs as directed by the managerPerformscross-functional duties as needed, including front desk duties suchas registration, scheduling, answering phones, cash handling andother duties not limited to scribing, ordering of suppliesThisdocument is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills,duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with thejob.
