MRI Tech:
- Operate head or body x-rayscanners which create a computer generated cross-sectional image,commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan
- Responsiblefor educating and preparing patients for their examinations
- Provide patient care that is essential to the performance of avariety of procedures
- Take patient medical history before an exam
- Position patients so desired anatomy will bedemonstrated
- Qualifications for the
MRI Tech:
- Graduate of anaccredited Associate or Bachelors degree program in RadiologicTechnology or related field
- ARRT (MR)/ ARMRIT Certificationrequired
- Current MRI Technologist Licensure within state ofpractice
- 6 months to 1+ years experience
- Current BLS/BCLScertification
