Scope:

Operate a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used byphysicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies. Possess thorough knowledge and understanding of the principals andphysics of magnetic resonance imaging. Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to complete theexam. Receive patients, explain method of examination, and positionpatient, perform IV puncture, and administer IV contrast agent whenindicated. Independently perform and complete routine examinations. Meet the needs of the patient, family and multi-disciplinary teamthrough effective communication, coordination and documentationensuring safety, care, courtesy and efficiency. Actively participate in quality initiatives to ensure the highestlevel of patient satisfaction, highest level of patient care andworkflow efficiencies.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year College or TechnicalSchool; or one year minimum related experience and/or training,required- Current ARRT (R) or (MR) Current BLS certification endorsed by the American HeartAssociation, required Ability to interact with people of all ages, required- At least one(1) year of experience as a MRI Technologist, preferred Now that you know more about being an MRI Technologist on our team,we hope you’ll join us.
