Check out this video andlearn more and discover the “Power of We.” As a RadiologyTechnologist at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role insupporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive thebest care by: Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in allclinical and technical functions. Ensures proper patientidentification, order verification, and prepares the patient forthe exam. Performs exams per department protocol and reviews imagesfor quality, clarity, and accuracy. Adheres to radiation safetyguidelines and maintains a safe working environment. Completesstudies within acceptable time limits without compromising patientcare or quality. Assists and instructs students and other RadiologyTechs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.

Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort,and addresses concerns. Practices appropriate infection control andsterile techniques. Understands and operates equipment and relatedinformation systems to ensure quality images. Keeps accuraterecords of patient information, procedures performed, and anyadverse reactions. Follows protocols for medical necessity, coding,charging, consents, QC programs, and reporting equipment failures.

Minimum Qualifications American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists (ARRT)(R) certification Radiologic technologistlicense in state of practice Basic Life Support certification (BLS)for healthcare providers May be required to complete the MedicalAssistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform the function of anMA in a clinic or InstaCare setting. Preferred Qualifications 1-2years radiology experience

40The hourly range for this position is listed below.
