Essential Functions:
The Radiologic Technologist provides clinical services according to radiology practice standards to ensure optimal department functions: Demonstrates skills and knowledge in use of all x-ray equipment and performance of all x-ray protocols and procedures. Demonstrates technical proficiency in producing high quality exams within the appropriate length of time for procedure.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred:
Appropriate Clinical Training in a Radiologic Technologist program and healthcare experience as a radiology technologist.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Required:
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (CPR, BLS) – American Heart Association
Required:
Radiology Technician (ARRT) – Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board Of Examiners (LSRTBE)
