Travel We are looking for a Magnetic ResonanceImaging Technologist (MRI Tech) for an immediate travel opening inMonroe, NC. The right MRI Tech must have 1 year of experience. Readbelow for additional requirements. As an MRI Tech, you will beresponsible for the use of magnetic resonance imaging equipment andensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians formedical interpretation. MRI Techs are also responsible for thepreparation of and caring for patients undergoing MRI imaging.

Tasks As an MRI Tech, you should be prepared to perform the followingtasks: Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests andexplain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance andsupport as required Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedureperformance Correctly interpret doctors’ written instructions Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization andprotective equipment to comply with government regulations and toensure the safety of patients and staff Assist radiologist with procedure performance Start I.V.s, administer contrast media as directed and perprotocol Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processedimages and sequence of exposure and label appropriately Load and operate power injectors for contrast mediaadministration Follow safety procedures when working with radiation Maintain accurate patient records Understand and use the McKesson PACS system Requirements Must have 1 year of experience. Must have

BLS, ARRT

(MR) or ARMRITNational Certification with registration in magnetic resonanceimaging, and state-specific licensing when required. MRI Techsshould be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as wellas bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Magnetic ResonanceImaging Technologists must have a sound knowledge of anatomy,physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Requirements•:

(R), ARRT (N), NMTCB, ARRT (MR), 1 Year • Additionalcertifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
