Job Responsibilities:

Performing Radiographic Exams:

Taking x-rays while following established protocols and positioningtechniques

• Patient Education:

  Provide patients with explanationsof procedures and appropriate positioning prior to performing thex-ray

• Radiation Safety:

  Practicing radiation protection measuresto minimize radiation exposure to patients and employees

• BasicPatient Care:

  Assist with triaging, discharge, and other basicpatient care as Radiology workflow allows

• Vital sign measurement:

Measure and record blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, andheight/weight

• Basic lab procedures: Perform simple laboratorytests such as EKGs, urine specimen collection, and influenza nasalswabs

Minimum Requirements:

• Education:

  1. Associate’s degree orequivalent (Required) 2. Completion of an approved R.T program(Required)

• Licenses & Certifications:

  1. Current ARRTcertification (Required) 2. Maryland State Radiographer License(Required) 3. CPR Certification (Required)

• Work Experience:

  1.Minimum one year of clinical experience in a physician’s office orhospital (preferred)

• Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities 1.

Knowledge of medical terminology 2. Understanding of human anatomy3. Proficiency in operating x-ray equipment 4. Superior customerservice skills 5. Effective written and verbal communication skills6. Reliable transportation with the willingness to comply with thecompany travel policy 7. Provide a minimum of 6-8 shifts foravailability per month 8. Ability to work 12 hour shifts,stand/walk for long periods, and lift 25 lbs. 9. Must havescheduling flexibility, including weekends and holidays

Pay &Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay: $35
• 40, plus opportunities forovertime
