JobDescription Summary:

This position operates computed tomographyscanners for a variety of procedures following directives of staffradiologists. He/ She is responsible for explaining procedures tothe patients, administering contrast media as requested, andscheduling patients in an organized manner. All duties performedper approved protocol.

Responsibilities And Duties:

Obtains patientclinical history for procedure. Reviews lab values and screenspatient for allergies to determine contraindications to contrastmedia. Administers oral and IV contrast media Operates CT scannersfor variety of procedures. Coordinates workload with other clinicalsections and departments. Monitors quality in patient carefunctions.

Minimum Qualifications:

ARRT

  • American Registry ofRadiologic Technologists
  • American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists, ARRT-DOH
  • American Registry of RadiologicTechnologists License from Ohio Department of Health
  • AmericanRegistry of Radiologic Technologists, BLS
  • Basic Life Support

American Heart Association Additional Job Description:
