Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Formal 2 year radiologic technology training in an AMAapproved school which meets requirements for registry by the
ARRTExperience:
At least two years in an acute care setting withspecific experience in CT Scan (computerized tomography)components.
Licenses/Certifications:
- American Registry ofRadiologic Technologist (ARRT) in computed tomography; OR
- NuclearMedicine Technology Certification (NMTCB) in computed tomography;OR
- ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification AND documented training oncomputed tomography
- State license if required
- American HeartAssociation BLS
- CT registry within 6 months

AHA BLS KeyResponsibilities:
TRA CT Tech The CT (Computerized Tomography) Techis responsible for performing diagnostic procedures utilizingradiation detection and imaging equipment. Provides quality care topatients of all age groups; from newborn to elderly, according todepartment standards.
