• Unlimited Referral Bonuses up to $1,000 DutiesResponsibilities The primary responsibility of the InterventionalRadiology Tech is to provide assistance with patient care in theInterventional Radiology Department through the provision oftechnical assistance to the IR team.
• Perform diagnostic andinterventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operatesconventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain imagesof designated body parts according to physician specificationsand/or orders.
• Assists the physician with the performance ofvarious diagnostic and interventional procedures, by monitoring,passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response toprocedure, maintaining sterile field, interpreting and evaluatingdiagnostic data to be utilized by the physician.
• Assurecompliance with federal, state, and local technical andprofessional regulations and accepted practiced guidelines.
• Delivers quality, cost effective patient care in a professionalmanner.
• Works effectively to maintain an environment ofexcellence, which is patient focused, providing timely,compassionate, quality patient care.
• Prepare and update patientrecords accurately and legibly.
