Description:

CT Technologist needed for immediate placement. The position is forboth inpatient and outpatient care. The facility is operating withone open floor and provides CT scans for various reasons.

Candidates must be competent to insert IVs as this procedure isrequired. Occasional CT angiograms are performed, but no coronal CTangiograms. Experience with GE equipment is critical, as thefacility has a brand-new GE dual energy scanner. The technologistmust be able to work independently, occasionally alone. Thecandidate should have 3-5 years of experience and be a graduate ofan AMA approved educational program in Radiological Technology.

Essential functions include following hospital protocols for exams,operating all department equipment, and ensuring quality studiesefficiently. Candidates should be able to adjust images accordingto required specifications. Proper documentation and identificationof scans are necessary. Other responsibilities include reportingfindings to relevant departments and maintaining a clean andfunctional work area. Clerical duties may also be required tomaintain workflow and quality standards.
