tech needed asap For both inpatient/outpatient(outpatient center w/ urgent care) there is 1 floor•it’s ahospital that closed, but still have 1 floor open so occasionallyget a head CT for a fall, but anybody super sick will go to themain hospital. Must be IV certified, or IV competent, because theydo need to insert IV’s Occasional CTA, but no coronal CTA if theycan do calcium score on a GE, that’s a huge plus• they have a brandnew GE dual energy scanner must be able to work independently(occasionally will be alone) Probably 12 miles northeast of BostonMassachusetts License and ARRT(CT) with IV cert please. Licensed inMA and ARRT(CT) certified, graduate of AMA approved educationalprogram in Radiological Technology 3-5 years of experienceEquipment info: GE VCT and Evo/EvolutionEssential Technicalhospital protocol for exam routines and produces quality studies inan efficient, timely manner.2.Is competent to operate all equipmentin the department or has requested training in specificareas.3.Properly warm up CT scanner and run QA, bring up pressureinjector, PACs units and Meditech.4.Completes CT procedure andtasks in an effective and efficient manner, i.e. provideappropriate feedback to patient, clean room, etc.5.Able to adjustand manipulate image to required specifications, i.e. windowing,contrast, algo, separates exams by accession, create reformattedimages, etc.6.Knowledge of scanners, Med Rad inj., PACs, VRC,Powerscribe.7.Selects proper scanning levels depending upon fieldof scan and organ selected.8.Ensures that all scans are properlyidentified anatomically and all appropriate information, i.e. name,date, accession , order in place, contrast volume and lot.9.Completes administrative part of procedure; tech edit, escortpatient, clean and prepare room.10.Notifies Coordinator or delegateof any/all equipment malfunctions.11.Reports wet reading findingsto physicians, Emergency Department, Nursing Units, etc. Can accessRadPortal if necessary.12.Restores (requests) prior exams forradiologist and VRC if necessary. Can burn CD for patient or ER ifrequested.13.Stock rooms, request stock to be ordered whennecessary. Tidies control rooms.
