JobDescription:
Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursinghomes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities.
Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed(CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to aRadiologist for interpretation. Transport and unload portable X-Rayequipment from a company-provided vehicle and take it intofacilities to perform exams ordered by the physician. Obtainclinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images. PerformEKGs (as needed) and transmit them to a Cardiologist forinterpretation. (If required) Scan exam-related paperwork/billingdocuments daily per protocol. Communicate regularly, efficiently,and professionally with peers, management, dispatch department, andclients. Radiologic Technologists are responsible for all jobduties as described in the full job description, AssociateHandbook, or mandated by management, in addition to other assignedduties.

PhysicalDemands:
Radiologic Technologists may need to push/pull anywherefrom 50 to 100 lbs. With the use of vehicle ramps and pulleys, thisweight decreases. However, pushing/pulling the equipment in afacility or home can increase the weight. 50 lbs. of force (ormore) can occur 16 to 24 times a day.
