West Bridgewater, MA MRI Technical Coordinator Location:
Southeastern Massachusetts M-F, day shift. New market-adjusted pay scale. Our client is an integrated healthcare system in Southeastern Massachusetts. The integrated system includes an award-winning hospital, a multi-specialty physician group with 16 locations, and a nursing school. The hospital recently completed a number of major renovations, including the following: The MRI Department has state of the art technology including a new GE Voyager 1.5T and a GE Hero 3T. A newly upgraded and remodeled Emergency Department with a secure triage area for Behavioral Health. A new high-tech Outpatient Surgical Center. A welcoming new lobby designed with patient experience in mind. A number of electrical, plumbing and other medically related upgrades.
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Director, Radiology Operations and according to established procedures, coordinates the activities of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) section of the Radiology Imaging Department and its technologists. Functions as a lead resource person providing technical guidance and instruction necessary for the efficient operation of the unit and patient care. Regularly performs all the functions of a MRI Technologist. In conjunction with the Director, Radiology Operations provides daily supervision for all MR personnel including scheduling and distribution of workload. Participates in the annual performance evaluation of department staff. 50/50 split between administrative duties and scanning duties.
Qualifications:
Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology program in an AMA approved school. Must be ARRT and advanced MRI registered, or ARMRIT registered. IV certification and BLS required. 2+ years of experience required, and leadership experience preferred.
