Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Formal 2 year radiologictechnology training in an AMA approved school which meetsrequirements for registry by the
ARRT Experience:
At least twoyears in an acute care setting with specific experience in CT Scan(computerized tomography) components.
Licenses/Certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in computedtomography; OR
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification (NMTCB)in computed tomography; OR
- ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification ANDdocumented training on computed tomography
- State license ifrequired
- American Heart Association BLS
- CT registry within 6months

AHA BLS Key Responsibilities:
TRA CT Tech The CT(Computerized Tomography) Tech is responsible for performingdiagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imagingequipment. Provides quality care to patients of all age groups;from newborn to elderly, according to department standards.
Completes established competencies for the position withindesignated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
