Overview:
•The Computed Tomography Technologist Weekend Optionis responsible for providing high-quality patient care duringComputed Tomography (CT) procedures using approved workflows andprocedural protocols. Working under direct supervision, thisposition uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to producecross sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologistsin diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders. This rolehas a weekend option, in which the staff member is required tocommit to WEO requirements and work two shifts within the WEOwindow for a premium rate. Talent Pool; Allied Health•
Talent Pool:
Allied Health Responsibilities:
•-Operates head or body x-rayscanners which create a computer-generated cross-sectional image,commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan.
Performsroutine and special CT exams adhering to established protocols tominimize additional imaging and limit radiation dose, maintainingexam productivity within established benchmarks.
Completes all examsand documentation in Computerized Health Information (CHL) andPicture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), accuratelyidentifying all charges associated with studies and addressingerrors for a seamless workflow.
Educates and prepares patients fortheir examinations to enhance patient understanding and cooperationduring testing and promote a positive patientexperience.
Demonstrates commitment to safe practices, Just Culture,and As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principles to eliminateerrors and enhance patient outcomes.
Performs other duties asassigned.

Required:
High School Diplomaor equivalentGraduate of a Radiology, Imaging or relatededucational program•
