Overview:
The MR Technologist I will assist physicians in theperformance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures bypreparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment inorder to obtain diagnostic scans. Qualifications:

Education:
2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program,required.

Experience:
Minimum of one year of experience in MR,preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
- NH Medical Center-Certifiedand registered by ARRT in MR
- RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 monthsof hire, required.
- NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility
- Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR),required.
- Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registeredby ARRT in MR
- RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
- IV Credentialed,required.
- Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096for life support training requirement.
- Applicable state license,required.
- Additional Skills (required): Thorough knowledge of MRIimaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills.
Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’srequirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Goodcommunication skills.
