$35.3K – $47.4K a year 1 day ago Qualifications BLS Certification Entry level Full Job Description Join our Radiology team at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as a Radiology Technician Trainee during your final year of school. We provide training using a hands-on approach! As a Radiologic Tech Trainee, you’ll provide optimal patient care, appropriate to the span of ages served, while efficiently assisting with patient set ups in preparation for the delivery of quality treatments. The trainee performs while under the supervision and/or direction of Staff Radiologic Technologists and technical supervisors and in accordance with the Hospital and Departmental policies and procedures.

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem Campus What Is Required:
Enrolled in an approved Radiologic Sciences Program; completed first year of program (didactic training) and are currently a second-year student. Current/valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Able to communicate professionally, both written and orally, with physicians, nurses, and other professionals about treatment plan. Basic clinical skills to enable recognition and function accordingly to prioritize patient needs. Adaptable to changing work schedules. Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Delivers patient care tailored to specific age groups based on guidelines. This position involves the possibility of frequent exposure to infections, hazardous substances, occasional exposure to radiation, and possible toxic chemicals. It also includes the risk of injury from equipment, exposure to unpleasant elements, and handling varying potential crises.
