Overview:
•Novant Health Extended Care is seeking a RadiologyTech to work Mon – Wed 7am – 7pm. Off on Weekends and Holidays• TheRadiologic Technologist assists physicians in the performance ofdiagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patientand operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnosticimages.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of anaccredited Radiology program or a certified/ accredited/JCERThospital based program and credentialed by the American Registry ofRadiologic Technologists (ARRT), required.
Experience:
Two yearsexperience in diagnostic radiology, required.
Licensure/Certification:
ARRT, required.
Additional SkillsRequired:
Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment andaccessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Hasknowledge and skills necessary to modify care according topatient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information toidentify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/herage specific needs. Good communication skills, capable offunctioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of varioustypes of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations andprocedures.
