The Radiologic Technologist assists physicians in theperformance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures bypreparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order toobtain diagnostic images. Qualifications:
Education:

HighSchool or GED, required . Graduate of an accredited Radiologyprogram or a certified/ accredited/JCERT hospitalbased program andcredentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT), required.

Experience:

Two years experience in diagnosticradiology, required .

Licensure/Certification:

ARRT , required.

Additional Skills Required:

Thorough knowledge of radiographicequipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computerskills. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care accordingto patient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret information toidentify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/herage specific needs. Good communication skills, capable offunctioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of varioustypes of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situations andprocedures.
