Required Qualifications:

- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist/n/t
- Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations/n/t
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)/n /n /n
PreferredQualifications:

- Current ARRT Certification/n/t
- Othercertifications and licenses may be required for this position/n /n/n
Summary:
/nThe CT Tech operates computerized tomography (CT)scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients’ bodies fordiagnostic purposes. They prepare patients for the procedure,position patients with considerations for safety and imageaccuracy, ensure proper imaging protocols are followed, and workclosely with radiologists to obtain high-quality images foraccurate diagnosis. CT Techs also maintain equipment, keep patientrecords, and follow safety procedures to minimize radiationexposure and provide compassionate care to patients throughout theimaging process. /n /n
Essential Work Functions:
/n/n /n/t
- OperateCT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs,and tissue for diagnostic purposes/n/t
- Prepare patients forprocedures, explain imaging process, and position patientsappropriately/n/t
- Set appropriate technical parameters toaccurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology/n/t
- Providehigh-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation/n/t
- Adhereto radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensurepatient and staff safety/n/t
- Perform routine maintenance andtroubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality/n/t
- Document patient information, imaging parameters, and proceduraldetails accurately in the hospital’s system/n/t
- Collaborate withradiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals todeliver timely diagnostic services/n/t
- Ability to adapt todifferent CT equipment and protocols across various healthcarefacilities/n/t
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scopeof CT Tech practice/n /n /n
Required Essential Skills:

- The ability to read, write, &communicate in the English language is required/n/t
