Overview:
The Diag Rad and CT Technologist WEO is responsiblefor providing high-quality patient care during Computed Tomography(CT) procedures using approved workflows and procedural protocols.
Working under direct supervision, this position uses specializedcomputerized x-ray equipment to produce cross sectional images ofthe human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a widevariety of diseases and disorders. This role has a weekend option,in which the staff member is required to commit to WEO requirementsand work two shifts within the WEO window for a premium rate.
Responsibilities:
Operates head or body x-ray scanners which create acomputer-generated cross-sectional image, commonly called a CAT(Computed Axial Tomography) Scan. Performs routine and special CT exams adhering to establishedprotocols to minimize additional imaging and limit radiation dose,maintaining exam productivity within established benchmarks. Completes all exams and documentation in Computerized HealthInformation (CHL) and Picture Archiving and Communication System(PACS), accurately identifying all charges associated with studiesand addressing errors for a seamless workflow. Educates and prepares patients for their examinations to enhancepatient understanding and cooperation during testing and promote apositive patient experience. Demonstrates commitment to safe practices, Just Culture, and As LowAs Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principles to eliminate errors andenhance patient outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program
