Overview:
The Diag Rad and CT Technologist WEO is responsiblefor providing high-quality patient care during Computed Tomography(CT) procedures using approved workflows and procedural protocols.
Working under direct supervision, this position uses specializedcomputerized x-ray equipment to produce cross sectional images ofthe human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a widevariety of diseases and disorders. This role has a weekend option,in which the staff member is required to commit to WEO requirementsand work two shifts within the WEO window for a premium rate.
Responsibilities:
Operates head or body x-ray scanners which createa computer-generated cross-sectional image, commonly called a CAT(Computed Axial Tomography) Scan. Performs routine and special CTexams adhering to established protocols to minimize additionalimaging and limit radiation dose, maintaining exam productivitywithin established benchmarks. Completes all exams anddocumentation in Computerized Health Information (CHL) and PictureArchiving and Communication System (PACS), accurately identifyingall charges associated with studies and addressing errors for aseamless workflow. Educates and prepares patients for theirexaminations to enhance patient understanding and cooperationduring testing and promote a positive patient experience.
Demonstrates commitment to safe practices, Just Culture, and As LowAs Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principles to eliminate errors andenhance patient outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
Required:
High School Diploma orequivalent Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educationalprogram
