Overview:

This position is PRN. Team member will cover shifts onas needed basis. The CT technologist assists physicians in theperformance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures bypreparing the patient and operating the CT equipment in order toobtain diagnostic scans. Qualifications:

Education:

2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.

Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or Graduate ofARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program,required.

  • Experience:

    One year experience in CT, preferred.

  • Licensure/Certification:
  • NH Medical Center
  • Certified andregistered: by ARRT in CT
  • RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire.

Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT

  • RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT) or
CNMT, RT

(CT) within 6 months of hire. Required.

  • NH IndependentDiagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital OutpatientDepartment-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT
  • RT(R)(CT) orRT(N)(CT) or
CNMT, RT

(CT); required.

  • NH Medical GroupOffice-Certified and registered: by ARRT in CT
  • RT(R)(CT) orRT(N)(CT) or
CNMT, RT

(CT); required.

  • IV Credentialed, required.
  • Applicable state license, required.

Additional Skills Required:

Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communicationskills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient,ability to interpret information to identify each patient’srequirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.

Prepares patient for procedures. Operates CT equipment.
