TheMammography Technologist I assists physicians in the performance ofdiagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patientand operating the mammographic equipment in order to obtaindiagnostic images. Qualifications:

Education:
HighSchool Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree,preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required

Experience:
One year experience in Mammography, preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
- Certified and registered by ARRT inRadiography and Mammography
- RT(R)(M), required.
- Certified andregistered by ARRT in Bone Densitometry
- RT(R)(M)(BD), preferred
- Applicable state license, required.

Additional Skills Required:
Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communicationskills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient,ability to interpret information to identify each patient’srequirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs.
Prepares patient for procedures. Operates Mammography equipment.
