The MR Technologist I will assist physicians in theperformance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures bypreparing the patient and safely operating the MR equipment inorder to obtain diagnostic scans. Qualifications:
Education:
2 Year /Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved RadiographyProgram or MR Program, required.
Experience:
Minimum of one year ofexperience in MR, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
NH MedicalCenter-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR)within 6 months of hire, required. NH Independent DiagnosticTesting Facility – Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hirein ARRT RT(R)(MR), required. Hospital OutpatientDepartment-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) orRT(MR), required. IV Credentialed, required. Refer to the LifeSupport Training Policy

for life support trainingrequirement Applicable state license, required. Additional Skills(required): Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analyticalability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpretinformation to identify each patient’s requirements for carerelative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
