Job Description:

Radiology Tech Full Time Days Position Summary

• Provideradiographic examinations for patients of all ages using diagnosticimaging modalities.
• This includes assessing patient condition,operating imaging equipment, proficiency in PACS, preparingexamination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, andmedications.
• Technologists are also required to maintainnecessary patient records and participate in the departmentalperformance improvement program.
• Technologists also function asclinical instructors for students enrolled in the RadiologicTechnology program.
• This technologist will also take an activepart in quality assurance (QA) managing.

Knowledge of PACS to coverPACS Administrator in their absence.

THE RADIOLOGY TECH FULL TIMEDAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE,LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

Minimum Education:

Graduate of anaccredited radiologic technology school with an associate degree orequivalent.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum one year as an accreditedtechnologist in a hospital setting. Experience in Quality Assurancepreferred.

Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:

Registered with ARRT, American Heart Association BLS CPRcertification required.
