Job Summary:

Conducts radiographic examinations under minimal supervision, following the Radiologist’s guidance. Manages daily activities, performing examinations and associated clerical tasks.

Hours:

Weekends 2X12’s

Essential Functions:

Performs and assists in radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. Documents patient history for specific procedures on physician-requisitioned forms. Confirms patient identity verbally and by validating proof of identity. Prepares and administers contrast media as needed. Consults with radiologists and other physicians as necessary. Selects and operates equipment based on individual procedure demands, demonstrating proper anatomic positioning skills. Maintains accurate records in accordance with departmental standards.

Qualifications:

ARRT registration required. If a new graduate, must be registry eligible and registered within 1 year of hire. 1 year of direct patient care work experience. BLS certification required through AHA.
