RTO after booking is notallowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs oradditional RTO on the unit could possibly result in a cancellation.
Weekend schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. No weekend RTO isallowed. Daily caseload is 150-200 scans across 4 rooms. Unit willaccept 13-week assignments with 36 hours offered. The workingenvironment is fast-paced, primarily in the emergency department.
Typical caseload for one tech during an 8-hour shift is anywherebetween 8 to 12 patients. Equipment includes Siemens scanners,specifically the S3000 and the Sequoia. Unit systems utilized areEpic and Visage. Patient diagnoses include infants, pediatrics,adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. There are additional specialprocedures including routine ED patients, Code Stroke, and sometrauma patients. The position requires candidates to float withinthe hospital or nearby affiliates based on skill sets and censuswithout restrictions. Candidates must also be comfortable withfloating as specified. Two manager/supervisor references fromwithin the past 12 months are highly preferred. Candidates mustwork 2 out of 3 major holidays. No RTO is allowed during the firstweek of a traveler’s assignment due to training requirements. Therole does not have any call or float requirements. The position isfocused on providing quality care to diverse patient populations ina high-demand environment.
